Membership
Firstly you need to become a member. When you sign up (which is completely free of charge) we grant you 100 ad credits. An ad credit gives you the ability to display 1 classified ad for 1 month (actually 30 days) and so with your free ad credit allowance you can display 1 ad for 100 months or 100 ads for 1 month or any combination thereof.
If you use up your ad credits then you can purchase more by simply clicking on the 'Buy more Ads' link. The prices are displayed on our site and are very reasonable.

Signing Up
Simply click the link to sign up and enter your personal information into the form. You will see that certain lines of information have a checkbox against them saying 'hide from public view'. This is the way that your contact info is displayed against your ad. You can choose to have your address, phone, fax or email address details displayed against your ad or not. The choice is yours and you can change these settings at a later date if you wish.

Posting
You should aim to have photos of your items for sale so that visitors can see what you are selling and the better the quality of the photo the better the chance of selling. Images should be resized to a maximum of 640*480 pixels and saved as JPG images with medium compression. If you don't know how to do this then try www.jasc.com for some help and the required software.
All ads should be legal and the description should be honest and truthful - any reports of abuse will result in your account being terminated and further action could be taken.
For the best results, make sure that you enter the ad in the appropriate category - if you think that we should have another category available then let us know and we will consider it.

Featured Ads
You will see that a number of ads appear at the top of the listings whenever you search for items for sale. These are Featured Ads and you can make any ad that you post 'Featured' simply by checking the appropriate box when you post it. However, Featured Ads cost 10 ad credits per month.

Renewal
All ads run for 30 days and are then switched off automatically. However you may sign back in and renew then at any time up to 10 days from their expiry and they will then run uniterrupted for another 30 days from when they would have expired. We will email you 5 days before expiry to let you know and again when the ad has expired. All ads that have remained expired for 60 days are removed from our system completely.

Selling
The site visitor can search either by keyword or can browse categories to locate your ad. When they click on the ad they will see your description and photographs of the item as well as the contact info that you have made available for public view. It is then up to them to contact you and for you to negotiate the sale, payment etc. We have no involvement whatsoever at this point and you should take all the appropriate precautions against fraud etc whether you are the buyer or seller.

Stopping or Editing an Ad
You can sign back into your account at any time and update your ad or delete it completely. No refund for unused ad credits is given under any circumstances.
